Toolbar




The toolbar is displayed across the top of the application window, below the menu bar.  The toolbar provides quick mouse access to many tools used in Wave Corrector. To display or hide the toolbar, use the Toolbar command in the View menu.

Open a new wave file for processing and scan for clicks and track boundaries. Wave Corrector displays the Open dialog box, in which you can locate and open the desired file.

Record a new wave file and scan for clicks and track boundaries. Wave Corrector displays a File Save dialog box, via which you can locate and name the desired file

Re-Scan and process the currently loaded wave file for clicks.

Call the Scan Options dialog .box. Options such as click detection threshold can be set by the user.

Find a correction meeting new search criteria.

Jump back to the previous correction meeting the current search criteria.

Jump forward to the next correction meeting the current search criteria.

Audition a click before correction has been applied.

Audition a click after correction has been applied.

Remove a correction from the correction list. The original waveform is restored. A confirmation dialog appears before the correction is permanently removed.

Starts the correction adjustment process or manually inserts a new correction. Using this command, the placement and width of a correction can be altered.

Use 'Cut & Splice' to remove a section of the wave and cross-fade over the join.

Apply digital filters to the currently loaded wave file.

Play track(s) from start. Plays the current track from the start; or if no track is selected, plays the entire file.

Play track(s) from marker. Plays the current track from the current marker position; or if no track is selected, plays the entire file.

Pause or continue playback.

  Cancel playback.

Split a track by inserting track boundary markers.

Merge two tracks by removing track boundary markers.

Audition the placement of a track boundary. This button is used interactively when you fine-tune the position of a track boundary.

Display and/or edit tags and track boundary parameters.

Jump back to the previous track boundary position.

Jump forward to the next track boundary position.
